Just an update since I wrote early today.....the staff at Sloan have arranged a chest CT scan, blood work and a EKG for Monday. A lung biopsy will be performed on December 9. Depending on the results of that biopsy, my course of treatment will be decided. If the lung cancer has metastasized, then it will be chemo, chemo, chemo; if it is plain old pancreatic cancer, then surgery will follow pretty soon after the results are in. Incidentally, the staff at Sloan called this afternoon to tell me the slides finally arrived. Woot!
