It would have been impossible for me not to recognize Mrs. Edwards for the heroine she was for those of us going through cancer. She held her head high and seemed to meet all her public difficulties with courage and grace. Her attitude was inspiring to me. On one interview she said she was not afraid of death, that burying her son had changed her attitude about death and dying. Her faith sustained her and I pray her son was waiting to hug her and bring her to the house of her Lord. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
